Mastiff    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

ARI IS A DOGO ARGENTINO WHICH IS AN ARGENTINEAN MASTIFF. THERE IS NO OPTION ON THIS SITE FOR HIS BREED. Ari is a working dog and requires a home that has first hand knowledge of his breed. While Ari will work in a pack he is not a pack dog outside of working. People with Dogo experience know exactly what we mean by this. Ari is much larger than breed standard weighing in between 135#-140#. He cannot be placed with children under 13, with cats, with livestock, with small dogs, in a home that is just going to play with him in the backyard or take him for daily walks. Ari runs, not jogs, runs five miles every morning. He has been hog hunting ... (Read More)now for the past seven months every other weekend and knows his job. You do not have to hunt to adopt Ari however, you must be able to stimulate him as he currently is or you will have major issues with him. Ari is extremely loving and loyal to his family. He is highly on and off leash trained with hand signals. He is UTD on vaccinations, neutered, double microchipped, HW- and on prevention. He does have allergies and requires being on an all raw diet. Taking him off brings his allergies out. He eats 4# per day with 2tbs of Organic raw apple cider vinegar, and 1tsp of DE. If you are not willing to continue his diet, then you are not the home for him. He is not an outside dog. Ari is housebroken, will use a dog door, overly crate trained, and knows his indoor manners. Again, Ari can only be placed in a home with firsthand knowledge of his breed. He is an amazing dog that needs an equally amazing home.
